Event Summary

This event aims to provide information, inspiration and advice to doctors considering or planning to apply for specialty training via the ACCS route (including Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Anaesthetics and Critical Care).

This event is aimed at foundation year doctors or clinicians with less than 24 months clinical experience who are interested in a career in acute care specialties.

Learning objectives: 

  • to understand the ACCS application process
  • to learn about the ACCS programme from current trainees and consultants in these specialties
  • to offer participants a chance to get an answer to specific questions to look at how to maximise your potential and polish your portfolio

Please note, the catering provided at this event will be meat-free as part of RCEM’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040 or sooner, and as a founding member of the UK Health Alliance for Climate Change. Any dietary requirements that you specified on the registration form when you booked the event will be catered for, please look at for signs about this in the catering space or ask a member of staff if you are unsure.
