The Royal College of Radiologists is hosting its annual Management Skills for Oncologists workshop. The sessions will study the skills and approaches needed to undertake effective management as a consultant clinical oncologist. This three-day programme will cover topics including appraisal, revalidation and dealing with difficult colleagues, specialist commissioning of radiotherapy and chemotherapy services, and the QIPPs (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention) drive by the NHS. As in previous years, didactic lectures will be interspersed with interactive activities led by experts in the field.
Who should attend?
This intensive three-day course will cover all aspects of management, with a focus on the issues relevant to a busy UK oncology department. Our highly regarded 3-day course will support both clinical and medical oncology senior trainees as well as consultants in their first years of practice and will provide the ideal forum for you to interact with colleagues facing similar challenges.
