Join Dr Amarnath Challapalli for the Skin Cancer meeting, bringing together national experts to provide delegates with an update on the evolving and current treatment strategies in the management of malignant melanoma and non-melanomatous skin cancers (NMSC). This will be a face-to-face meeting along with a virtual skin cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT). The meeting will be using a case-based approach in the virtual MDT followed by an interactive session about common clinical dilemmas. The programme will feature lectures in the morning and early afternoon with a virtual MDT in the late afternoon. This format will provide an informative update/refresher on the various aspects of the management of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.
Learning outcomes
- To update on current treatment strategies in the management of malignant melanoma and non-melanomatous skin cancers (NMSC)
- Evaluate common clinical dilemmas in NMSC
- Illustrate and apply a variety of approaches to the management of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.
Who should attend?
Skin cancer management is multi-disciplinary. The meeting is aimed at consultants and trainees in oncology and other specialists such as dermatologists, plastic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons to attend the meeting.

- Surgery for high risk and advanced Keratinocyte cancers
- Role of radiotherapy in keratinocyte skin cancers
- Management of NMSC in Organ Transplant (OTR) Patients
- Update on systemic treatment in cutaneous SCC
- Advances in management of BCC
- Advances in management of Merkel cell carcinoma
- Virtual MDT case discussions
- Final remarks and close
