This course has been developed in collaboration between The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child health and is designed for healthcare professionals working in child health, educators and community workers. It provides an overview of the impacts of climate change on the health and wellbeing of children, the risks to (and contribution of) the health sector. It develops skills in carbon literacy and sustainable quality improvement, with case examples demonstrating practical application. The course consists of:
•Self-study: 6 hours of engaging, interactive online study material with videos – open from the point of booking
•Workshop: 4-hour live online workshop focused on development of sustainability projects, facilitated by national experts
•Mentoring: Follow-up sessions to network with peers, share progress and receive further support
