SUMMARY:Advanced Gynaecology – Brachytherapy Workshop 2026
DESCRIPTION:Mastering Brachytherapy: An Advanced In-Person Workshop \nLed by Dr Hoda Al Booz\, back by popular demand following the sold-out 2025 workshop\, the Advanced Gynaecology Brachytherapy Workshop returns to London in September 2026. Enhance your skills in brachytherapy for gynaecological cancers with our interactive two-day in-person course – join our multidisciplinary workshop\, led by clinical experts. Designed specifically for clinical oncologists\, radiographers and physicists\, this workshop offers a unique blend of hands-on teaching\, comprehensive lectures\, and focused breakout sessions tailored for each discipline. You’ll gain direct access to practical training in HR-CTV contouring for clinicians and treatment planning for physicists. Engage in vital discussions\, tackle complex brachytherapy challenges\, and collaborate with peers across disciplines. \nMaximise your centre’s learning: We highly encourage one representative from each discipline at your centre to attend. This fosters a dynamic\, collaborative environment\, allowing you to work effectively as a multidisciplinary team and within your specialised groups throughout the two days. \n14 CPD points will be awarded on completion of this course. Delegates are required to bring a laptop to participate in the live breakout sessions. \nLearning objectives \nBy the end of this course delegates will be able to: \n\nDevelop skills in the indication of intracavitary (IC) and interstitial (IS) brachytherapy in cervix cancer\nGain practical skills for performing and delivering IC/IS brachytherapy for clinicians/radiographers/physicists\nReceive training in delineation of HR-CTV MR/CT\, treatment planning and assessment of dose plans\n\nWho should attend? \n\nClinical oncologists\nRadiographers\nPhysicists\n\nWe recommend that one clinical oncologist\, one radiographer and one physicist from your centre attends this workshop. \nAll delegates are expected to participate in pre-course activities and on-the-day interactive sessions at the conference. Please note this course will not be available to view on-demand post event. \nHear from our 2025 delegates\, of which 100% rated the course as well organised\, well designed and the teaching style effective: \n“Excellent two days. Very supportive atmosphere. Great opportunity to meet other radiographers with similar issues and/or potential solutions\, particularly as the brachy teams are usually very small with limited support/ understanding locally.” \n“Very well organised” \n“Excellent course”
