View Website → 24 September 08:30 - 16:40 - Event

Led by Dr Tasos Ioannou (The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre) and Dr Arabella Hunt (The Royal Marsden), our multidisciplinary technical radiotherapy workshop provides a complete, hands‑on learning experience in delivering SABR for liver tumours, including both HCC and metastatic disease for their local population.

Developed in collaboration with RTTQA, the UK SABR Consortium and the RCR, the course blends expert-led teaching, practical outlining sessions and real‑world implementation guidance to help your centre safely and confidently expand its SABR liver service. You’ll hear from leading UK specialists, take part in an interactive forum to explore challenges and best practice, and gain structured pre‑course preparation to ensure optimal on‑the‑day participation.

9 CPD points will be awarded on completion of this course. All elements of the course are compulsory to receive the full eligibility of CPD credits, including completion of pre-course activities and full day attendance at the event.

What you’ll gain:

  • Practical contouring confidence: guided technical workshops and expert demonstrations.
  • Up‑to‑date best practice insights: informed by national standards and leading clinical centres delivering liver SABR.
  • Multidisciplinary expertise: perspectives from clinicians, physicists and radiographers actively shaping SABR practice in the UK.
  • Actionable tools to support your centre in setting up, refining, or scaling a SABR liver service for both HCC and metastatic pathways.
  • Interactive problem solving: a dedicated forum to discuss your specific real-world challenges with an expert panel
  • Implementation tools: actionable strategies to help your centre set-up, refine or scale liver SABR pathways
  • Nine accredited CPD credits: a comprehensive learning experience designed to improve outcomes for your local population.
