RCEM clinical and educational supervisors away day

This event will focus on providing updates, information and sharing best practice on all aspects of EM training, offering pragmatic and solution-based guidance to educational and clinical supervisors.
As well as focusing on the 2021 RCEM Curriculum updates launched in August 2025, themes will also include leadership and skills acquisition and assessment within the ePortfolio, as well as other topics including AI’s impact on medical education, EDI and supporting fairer training cultures within training departments.
Please note, registration for this event will close on Tuesday 3 March, but may close earlier if capacity is reached.
Learning objectives:
To update the EM training faculty on important developments including:
- Practical skills – acquisition and assessment
- Curriculum updates
- Promotion of positive cultures in EM training
- Feedback, appraisal assessment and completing the Education Supervisors Report
- Leadership training and how it links to retention

This event is aimed at all EM trainers including educational supervisors, clinical supervisors, training programme directors and heads of schools.
