We are collaborating again with the International Network for Health Workforce Education (INHWE) to bring you a fantastic 2 day conference in 2025, incorporating the Academy’s Annual Academic Meeting and INHWE’s 5th Internatonal Congress of Health Workforce Education and Research.
Conference Theme
Today, patients are rarely looked after by just one health professional, and in the context of a complex healthcare system, effective teamworking and interprofessional learning is essential for the delivery of effective and patient-centred care. We are excited to be working with INHWE again to bring you this joint two-day conference that will provide an excellent opportunity for us and our delegates to strengthen links and learn from diverse healthcare professions to establish new ways of working together.
This conference is one of the best opportunities for educators across the health professions to come together to share good practice, the latest innovations in healthcare education, as well as for networking, academic collaboration, and professional development.
Themes include:
- Learning from success, established IPE
- Leadership
- Communication
- Non-clinical medical educators
- Healthcare Improvement
- Application of reflective practise
- Person-centredness approach / involving patients in multi-professional learning
- Developing your healthcare educators
