Diabetes is a chronic long-term condition which needs daily management but can also result in life threatening emergencies and long-term medical consequences. This course provides a clinical framework for the diagnosis and management of children and young people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. It also covers dietetic management and the psychosocial impact of having a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. This course will be delivered virtually via Zoom.
